Members of the Virtus Global Center for Corporate Governance took part in the online research seminar together with the colleagues from the Karlstad University (Sweden), The University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" (Italy) and University of Naples Federico II (Italy).

The seminar was initiated by Prof. Sven-Olof Collin, representing Karlstad University. Two research papers were presented at the seminar: "The Information Content of Discretionary Accruals during the Global Financial Crisis: Evidence from Italy" by Moscariello, Fera, Cinque and "The Relationship between Earnings Quality and the Cost of Debt: some evidence from Italian SMEs" by Moscariello, Fera, Cinque.

Two coauthors: Prof. Nicola Moscariello, co-editor of the Corporate Board journal and Pietro Fera delivered the presentation and responded to the questions of the audience.

Representatives of the VGCCG joined the discussion during the seminar and provided their feedback on the papers.
